LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a naked man made a run for the border.

Officers were called to the Taco Bell on Bardstown Road, near Baxter Avenue, shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a naked man inside, "causing alarm and annoyance to the Taco Bell staff."

According to an arrest report, police found 36-year-old Joel B. Love outside the Taco Bell.

Police say he was naked.

When officers asked him to stop, he allegedly ran away. Police chased him to Cherokee Road, near Cherokee Pkwy., where he was apprehended.

Police say he smelled of alcohol, admitted to drinking and didn't know where his clothes were.

He was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and fleeing or evading police.
