LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A police officer was hurt while conducting a traffic stop.

It happened when Officer Gordon Miles stopped 20-year-old Zachary Bohn on Pindell Avenue near McKinley Avenue.

Audubon Police Department Major Ron Jones says Miles was giving Bohn a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt.

Bohn then grabbed the ticket and drove off, running over the officer's foot.

Louisville Fire and EMS responded, and Miles was taken to Norton Audubon Hospital.

His foot is badly bruised.

Bohn is in Metro Corrections on charges of wanton endangerment, assault, and reckless driving.
