Summer cocktails can be a fun way to celebrate the holiday weekend. Heaven Hill's Josh Hafer has a couple of patriotic drinks--including a new twist on a margarita--minus the blender and in a smaller glass.
PAMA Margarita
2.5 parts PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
1 part Lunazul Blanco Tequila
.5 part Triple Sec
Fresh Lime Juice
Splash of simple syrup
Garnish: lime wheel
Preparation: Shake all ingredients and serve over ice in a salted margarita glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
Bubbles & Blue
2 oz. Hpnotiq
2 oz. Champagne (Extra Dry)
Pour chilled Hpnotiq and Champagne into a Champagne flute.
Add fresh berries.
