LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Radcliff officials beat the heat on Friday afternoon by jumping -- fully clothed -- into a community pool!
There was more to it than just staying cool -- it was all part of the "Political Plunge," an effort to raise money to build a playground for Radcliff Elementary School.
The playground will be named after Isaiah Alonso, a Radcliff Elementary student who passed away from cancer two years ago.
Organizers met their goal of raising $1,000 in donations from the event.
Jumpers included Radcliff Mayor J. J. Duvall, Vine Grove Mayor Blake Proffitt, Elizabethtown Mayor Tim Walker, State Senator Dennis Parrett and others.
