QRS Recycling burns in New Albany

LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- A massive fire burned in New Albany, Indiana sending huge plumes of smoke into the air. The fire began Saturday afternoon at QRS or Riverside Recycling, located at 10th and Floyd Streets.

Officials say huge bales of pressed recyclables are burning. Crews battled the flames with ladder trucks. Three firefighters were taken to Floyd Memorial Hospital for treatment. They are expected to be alright.
