Posted: Updated:

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- The New Albany, Ind. recycling center that caught fire Saturday is back open today.

The fire broke out Saturday at QRS Riverside Recycling, and was visible for miles around.

Nineteen fire departments responded to the blaze.

Eight firefighters were taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion.

The damage was confined to a storage area, and didn't spread to the company's buildings or equipment, so the business opened as usual this morning at 7 a.m.
