LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A popular Louisville restaurant has closed its doors, but we're not getting answers why. Avalon on Bardstown Road is empty.
A sign posted on the door says the restaurant is sorry to suspend operations due to unforeseen circumstances, and it thanks customers for their support.
It's the second big hit for Avalon owner Steve Clements in a week. He also ran catering for the Kentucky Derby Museum, until he was abruptly let go last week.
The Museum would only say it ended the relationship because of a contractual issue.
