LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The 17-month-old boy who was found in a swimming pool at a home in Okolona has died.

Corde Reed was found unresponsive in the above-ground pool at a relative's home in the 7900 block of Sandalwood Court around 6:45 p.m. on June 27.

He was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital, where he died on Monday just after 10 a.m.

Police said at the time the child was found that they did not know how long the boy had been in the pool.
