Louisville man charged with murder in sister's death

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man charged with shooting his sister is now charged with murder.  20-year-old Jules Snead pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday morning.

His sister, 24-year-old Jericka Snead, died Monday, a week after being shot.

Police say she was shot at a home on Trotters Trace near Beulah Church Road last Monday.  Police say the siblings got into an argument and Jules Snead shot his sister in the upper legs.

He was originally charged with assault, but the charges were upgraded to murder.  His bond is set at $100,000.
