LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People in Pleasure Ridge Park are cleaning up the mess from a pop-up storm early this morning.
Limbs were snapped off trees, and a trampoline was bent by strong winds and falling limbs.
Juanita Smith, a P.R.P. resident, was out cleaning up downed limbs at 6 a.m. She said the storm lasted only 20 minutes.
"It was a terrible wind storm," she said. "Hail came through here. It's like it came around the corner, struck my house, pulled down my big pear tree, and some of the limbs went over the house."
The storm was isolated, though many people in our area heard thunder and saw the dramatic lightning it produced.
