INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The all-time record high temperature for Indianapolis could be broken.
The National Weather Service reported early Saturday afternoon that the temperature had risen to 104 degrees, breaking the record for the date of 101 degrees set in 1936. The all-time record high for Indianapolis is 106 degrees set on July 14, 1936.
The weather service says considering the effect of humidity, temperatures may feel as hot as 119 degrees today.
