More charges against two accused of breaking into home during funeral

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- More charges have been brought against two of the men accused of breaking into a home while the family attended their son's funeral.

James Parrett and Timothy Terry have been formally charged with burglary.  Police say they, along with Michael Acord, broke into Cindy and Dennis Higdon's Grayson County home.

The couple was attending their son Christian's funeral.  He had been beaten in the head with a hatchet.

The men have been charged in connection to a similar crime in Sonora, Kentucky -- a woman was attending her husband's funeral when her home was broken into.
