Search for 13-foot python that may be in the Santa Claus, Ind. area

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Southern Indiana police are on the lookout for a slithery suspect who shouldn't be hard to spot.

Santa Claus Police say someone called the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife this weekend to report that a 13-foot albino python was released into the Christmas Lake Village neighborhood.

Official don't know who made the call, but say it came from Santa Claus.  The caller said the snake had gotten too big, so the person released it into the woods.

So far there have been no sightings, and police say it could be a hoax.  But they ask residents to call them if they see anything.
