LMPD asks for help identifying bank robbery suspect

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are asking for help in identifying the woman who robbed the BB&T Bank in the 2900 block of Hurstbourne Parkway just north of Westport Road.

It happened just after 2:00 on Monday when the suspect came into the bank, showed a note demanding money, and threatened the teller if she didn't hand over the money.

Police describe the suspect as a white female, 20-25 yrs old, 5'0" to 5'5", 100-105 lbs, dark brown or black hair pulled back, and a dark complexion.  She was last seen wearing a black hair wrap, oversized dark sunglasses, a black V-neck T-shirt, and light blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the anonymous tip line at 574-LMPD.
