LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- M&M's may not melt in your hand, but Louisville Metro Police say candy bars do -- and that's how they nabbed an alleged robber!

Police say that on July 9, 42-year-old Donnell Huskey of Elizabethtown, Ky., walked into the Circle K on Preston Hwy., near Gilmore Lane. He allegedly told a clerk that he had a gun and demanded business cash. He then ran away.

But police say he left something behind on the counter: a candy bar. Police say they were able to pull a fingerprint from that candy bar and tie that print to Huskey.

Police say they also have surveillance video of Huskey holding the candy bar during the robbery.

He's was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with first-degree robbery.
