LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Jefferson County District Court judge dismissed a driving under the influence charge against former WDRB sports anchor John Lewis. Lewis appeared before Judge Sean Delahanty June 27th in Jefferson County District Court.
"I'm glad the DUI charge has been dismissed and will be expunged from my record very soon. I'm looking forward to moving on personally and professionally," said Lewis.
Lewis was arrested in front of his residence by a Louisville Metro Police officer in May 2011. Lewis resigned from WDRB the day after the incident. He had worked in the WDRB sports department as a reporter and anchor for 10 years.
