Couple accused of trading pickup truck for baby

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A central Kentucky couple is accused of trading a pickup truck for a newborn baby.

Husband and wife Jeremy and Jaimee Brown were booked into the Laurel County Jail on Thursday.

They're accused of trading their 1999 Dodge Dakota truck for a baby boy back in January. Investigators say the mother is Heather Kaminskey, a 30-year-old from Corbin who is also wanted on meth charges.

The baby was being raised by the Browns with their three other children.

Investigators say Kaminskey eventually sold the truck for $800 and some meth.

The Browns face human trafficking charges and possibly up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
