LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- A series of injury accidents shut down part of Interstate 71 this afternoon. Three accidents happened around 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon near I-71 and the Gene Snyder Freeway.
Officials say four people from one of the accidents were taken to the hospital, but their injuries are unknown.
Metro Police have not said whether the accidents were a direct result of each other. I-71 southbound was shutdown for hours while the accidents were cleared away.
