One down, two to go.

The Louisville Magic 16-and-under AAU basketball team set a goal of winning three tournaments this summer – Indianapolis, Milwaukee and then Las Vegas.

Step One was completed Sunday afternoon at North Central High School in Indy.

The Magic defeated Team Thad to win the 16-and-under title at the adidas Invitational.

D'Angelo Russell led the Magic with 20 points. Quentin Snider, the Ballard High star who has orally committed to Louisville, added 15 points while Shane Hall of Johnson Central had a monster game – 14 points, 12 rebounds, 9 blocks and three assists.

The Magic, coached by Ellis Myles, head to Milwaukee next weekend.
