LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- We'll find out this week whether a judge will revoke probation for jockey Robby Albarado. He was found guilty last week in court of assaulting his ex girlfriend.
She has accused him of attacking her during a fight over a cell phone at his home in April, just days before the Kentucky Oaks.
A jury recommended a sentence of a $500 fine.
This Wednesday a judge will consider whether to revoke his probation for a previous conviction from last year involving Albarado's former wife.
He will be sentenced on the latest conviction in August. It's not clear yet how this could affect his riding career.
