LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The new general manager of the KFC Yum Center says financially, the facility is in very good shape and announced some big names Louisville can expect to see there.
The Arena Authority met today in downtown Louisville.
Justin Bieber will be back this fall, The Who will play in February, and British pop group One Direction will be back next year.
General Manager Dennis Petrullo says AEG, which will manage the Yum Center for the next 10 years, has made financial guarantees for the facility.
"We guaranteed large sums of money -- $1 million next year to $1.5 million over the next four years," Petrullo said. "They're guaranteed a profit for the next 10 years."
As far as scheduling events around U of L basketball, Petrullo says the facility has worked well with the university over the past two-and-a-half years, and he expects that to continue.
