LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A man has admitted he shot a cat with a bow and arrow. 21-year=old Jeric Flores pleaded guilty to animal torture, tampering with evidence, and cruelty to animals.
Officials say the incident happened in March on Kingstone Avenue.
Under a plea deal, Flores will be on probation for five years, is to not own any animals during that time, and has to pay full restitution to Shamrock Arrow Fund for the cat's veterinary care. He also has to give up his four other cats.
The cat who was shot with the arrow has recovered.
