Young girls may be thinking too sexy too soon. A new report shows girls as young as six are thinking about looking sexy.

Researchers showed girls ages six to nine some paper dolls. One was dressed in tight, flashy clothes. The other was in a more conservative outfit.

Two thirds said they identified with the sexy doll or most wanted to be like her.

The study found movies and television influence young girls, but mothers are the greatest influence.

Researchers believe most girls chose the sexy doll because they associated it with being popular.
