A Louisville football jersey was included in the donation Bobby Petrino made to the Goodwill store in Springdale, Ark.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Bobby Petrino has been gone from the University of Louisville football program for more than 5 ½ years, but he apparently carried a part of U of L with him for all these years after all.
Or at least some Cardinal gear.
Larry Henry of 5NewsOnLine.com in Arkansas reports that the final piece of merchandise that Petrino donated to the Goodwill in Springdale, Ark., has finally been sold – and it was a U of L football jersey (size medium).
The No. 4 jersey fetched $40, which is close to top dollar for second-hand clothes. Goodwill has previously sold Petrino's golf clubs, an Atlanta Falcons jacket and several other goodies.
The entire Petrino donation netted Goodwill just under $2,000.
Who knew that Petrino had been holding on to that little piece of U of L for all these years?
