LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One man was struck by lightning while boating on the Ohio River in Oldham County, Ky.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. yesterday near Heather's restaurant by Victory Lane, near Rose Island Road.

There were four or five people out on the boat.

One man was directly hit by lightning, but was conscious as emergency crews took him to University Hospital.

Officials say another man was "stunned" by the electricity, but refused medical treatment.
