U of L recruit Rozier headed to prep school

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- University of Louisville freshman recruit Terry Rozier is headed to prep school rather than the Cardinals basketball team this fall.

Rozier confirmed today that after consulting with U of L coach Rick Pitino, he's decided to play for Hargrave Military Academy next season, but remains committed to U of L.

"I talked to coach Pitino and we decided this was best," Rozier said. "I just want to work hard and get better. I'm still excited about Louisville."

At Hargrave, Rozier will play with U of L commitment Anton Gill, who is transferring to Hargrave from his school in Raleigh, N.C.

Rozier is ranked as the No. 68 player nationally by Scout.com. He averaged 20.2 points per game as a senior at Shaker Heights (Ohio) High.
