Voters at Phil Steele's college football yearbook say that Derek Dooley of Tennessee in the coach on the hottest seat in the nation.
The guys at the Phil Steele College Football Yearbook are conducting an on-line poll to choose the coach on the Hottest Seat as the 2012 season begins.
There are 20 names on the list, led by Brian Kelly of Notre Dame, John L. Smith of Arkansas and Randy Edsall of Maryland. Joker Phillips of Kentucky is also a candidate.
But the landslide winner is Derek Dooley of Tennessee, who is polling more than 40 percent of the vote, considerably ahead of runner-up Kelly, who is at 16.5 percent. Smith is fourth at 7.3 percent.
What about Joker?
Phillips checks in at seventh, earning only 3.7 percent of the votes.
