LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro police are asking for tips in finding two suspects in an armed robbery of the Jim Dandy's Food Mart in the 4900 block of Poplar Level Road.
Police late Wednesday released surveillance images of two suspects whom they say were armed with silver handguns and demanded money about 11:12 p.m. on July 9. The suspects then fled on foot, police said.
Detectives are looking for two black men. The first suspect was described as being 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing between150 to 160 pounds. When last seen he was wearing a black do-rag, black long-sleeved shirt, black pants and black shoes.
The second suspect was described as a black man in his 20s, weighing 115 to 120 pounds. When last seen he was wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black pants and black shoes.
Police consider the suspects armed and dangerous. They ask anyone with information to call or text the anonymous LMPD crime tipline at (502) 574-LMPD (574-5673).
