LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Frankfort, Kentucky landmark the "Singing Bridge" is set to reopen to vehicles and walkers Thursday night. It has been closed since the middle of March for repairs and painting.
Work crews painted the steel truss and made repairs to the steel grate on the bridge deck. The repairs cost $1.26 million.
The Singing Bridge was built in 1893 and carries an average of 6,000 vehicles each day.
