LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One organization is stuffing a school bus, before school even starts.
The Archdiocese of Louisville held the Stuff the Bus event today, ahead of the Catholic Enrichment Center's back-to-school fairs tomorrow.
A gutted bus was filled with donated school supplies that will be passed out to children at the fairs.
But the organization is still looking for supplies.
"We are in need right now of things that children need to be successful in school," says Family Life Skills Coordinator Chris Burt. "Backpacks, paper, pencils, pens, folders--things that we tend to take for granted that really are crucial to a child's success."
The Back to School Fairs will be held at the Catholic Enrichment Center on West Broadway tomorrow from 10 am to 2 pm, and Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church on Buechel Bank Road tomorrow from 9 am to 1 pm.
