The news that the UFL will return for a fourth season helps Brian Brohm's comeback chance.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- When I spoke with former Louisville and Trinity quarterback Brian Brohm earlier this month, he was hopeful that the United Football League would return for its fourth season. There aren't an overflow of UFL fans, but Brohm enjoys the league.
Brohm is getting his wish. Not only will the UFL return on Sept. 19, the league has a deal with CBS Sports Network to televise games. Brohm expects to return to the Las Vegas franchise and play for former New York Giants coach Jim Fassel.
The other UFL franchises will return in Norfolk, Va., Sacramento, Calif., and Omaha, Neb.
The eight-game season will feature games on Wednesdays and Fridays. Brohm said he needs fresh video with some solid performances in the UFL to earn another look from an NFL team.
