LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have accused a Louisville woman of assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

It happened last Tuesday. Police say the girl was staying at the home of 45-year-old Ramona McCubbins.

At some point during the stay, the 12-year-old allegedly told McCubbins that she didn't want to play with her grandchildren. That's when, police say, McCubbins attacked her.

According to an arrest report, McCubbins chased the girl, pulled her hair and shoved her to the ground. During the scuffle, police say the 12-year-old's head struck the concrete, and she was scratched down her left shoulder.

The police were called to the home on a report of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they realized they already had a warrant for McCubbins' arrest on another charge, so she was taken into custody.

Police say the girl sustained scratches to her left shoulder and three knots on her head.

McCubbins was charged with fourth degree assault, a misdemeanor.
