LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing serious felony charges after police say he pointed a gun at two Louisville Metro Police officers.

According to an arrest report, officers were in the area of 38th Street and Parker Avenue on a report of shots fired.

That's when police say they saw 48-year-old Darrell P. Smith running on 38th Street.

Police say when they drove toward him, he turned and faced them -- and they noticed he had a gun in his right hand.

"As he turned, he raised the gun and pointed it toward the officers," an arrest report states.

No shots were fired, and Smith was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of wanton endangerment.
