LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An elderly couple has been found shot to death inside their home in the Highlands, but police aren't looking for suspects.
That's because police are calling this a "murder-suicide."
It happened at a home near the intersection of Stevens Ave. and Hartman Ave.
Metro Police got the call just after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Neighbors say an elderly couple lived in the home, and it was the last place they expected to see police lights or crime tape.
But inside, police found two people who had been shot to death.
Police believe the victims were in their late 70s or 80s and detectives don't suspect anyone else was involved.
WDRB talked to several neighbors but all declined going on camera.
However, off camera, neighbors tell us this was a very kind couple and they've lived there for years.
