LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman who admitted she stole more than $700,000 from her former employer will spend 10 years behind bars.
"I'm here today to take responsibility for the actions that have caused so much pain and suffering to so many people and I'm truly sorry," said Latrisha Riedling in court Tuesday.
In June, Riedling pleaded guilty and admitted to stealing $726,000 from Louisville Glassworks and Architectural Glass Art.
Riedling was the Chief Financial Officer for the two companies from Feb. 2005 to June 2011.
"To have all my life savings wiped out, and to lose one company I invested so much, and to hurt one I've worked so hard for so long to see it crippled...it hurts," said Ken Von Roenn, owner of Architectural Glass Art Inc. "But you know I have to work harder. And we're all going to pull together and be better in the end."
Riedling's attorney says she will be able to ask for shock probation.
