LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Thousands of brightly colored street rods and vintage cars are rolling into Louisville. The Street Rod Nationals are returning and before the annual show starts, some of the street rods parked at Fourth Street Live on Wednesday.
Nearly 11,000 of the cars will take part at the four-day event at the Kentucky Expo Center.
The show has a more than $13 million economic impact on the city. Louisville has hosted the Street Rods for 18 years. This is the 15th consecutive year.
Louisville participant Thomas Willis, says, "I love cars, the workmanship that goes into these cars, and stuff you can do with them, I don't know what else I would do without them."
