LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana's governor is getting in touch with the three people trying to take over his job.

Mitch Daniels wrote to the three gubernatorial candidates as he decides whether to establish a state health insurance exchange.

Daniels says the decision should be made with the candidates because one of them will bear the responsibility of the decision.

Daniels has until November 16th to submit a plan to federal officials for an exchange.

If the state does not establish its own insurance exchange, Hoosiers would have to seek insurance via the federal exchange.
