LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man they say was drunk when he showed up at a local park and allegedly sexually abused a woman.
It happened near the Waterfront in downtown Louisville.
Police say 46-year-old Walter L. Johnson was drunk when he approached a woman in the area and told her that "he wanted to go and make love with her" shortly after 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
He then allegedly exposed himself to a crowd of people in the park.
Five minutes later, he approached a woman and told her he wanted to have sex with her, according to an arrest report. Police say he then tried to fondle her.
Police say Johnson's behavior "caused alarm to several people" and police received numerous calls reporting his activities.
Officers arrested him at the scene and charged him with sex abuse, indecent exposure, alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct.
