LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman is dead and a man is behind bars after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle this morning on Bardstown Rd. near Strathmoor Blvd.
Police say 56-year-old Christopher Purcell might have been speeding when he drove his Jeep Cherokee into the path of a motorcycle.
Jefferson County Coroner Cindy Thoene says 31-year-old Tracey Blevins died at the scene of the crash at 12:40 this morning. Blevins was the passenger on the motorcycle.
Purcell has been charged with second degree manslaughter and driving under the influence.
