UPS assembly line delivers 11,000 books to Dare to Care

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- UPS made a special delivery this morning.

Employees delivered 11,000 books to Dare to Care.

An assembly line was made to unload all the books.

"We're going to distribute these through our backpack program, which is designed to provide meals to kids on the weekends," said Brian Riendeau, executive director of Dare to Care. "We're going to distribute these through our Kids' Cafe programs."

The books will be given to at-risk children.

In total, UPS collected 18,500 books.
