LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A national organization helping young people that got its start in Louisville unveiled a new logo this morning.

National Safe Place replaced its old sign on the fire station at the corner of 6th St. and Hill St. with the updated logo.

Louisville was the birthplace of the Safe Place program.

The logo, which is seen on many government buildings and private businesses, lets young people know they have somewhere they can get help.

Since it was established, Safe Place has helped over 270,000 young people get immediate help.
