LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A company that just moved to Louisville is allowing you to instantly find out about the latest deals at your favorite restaurants.
WhyWait held its ribbon cutting at the Nucleus building in downtown on Tuesday.
The company developed a free app that lets patrons know about everything from happy hour specials to menu items. It lets restaurants control the updates.
"Everything with the app is in real time. A restaurant can get onto our page and they can post any deal or happy hour they want, or upload an event, and then they can send out the push notifications to the people that favored their restaurant. So, if they're slow on a Tuesday night, they can say half-price appetizers for the rest of the night, and send it out to everybody that favored them." said company co-founder John Matar.
