LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Saint Xavier High School Head Football Coach Mike Glaser says this will be his final season leading the Tigers.
This coming year will be his 31st as Head Coach. His overall record is 328-73, and it also includes seven KHSAA State Championships and five state runner-up finishes. That has him ranking fourth all-time in wins by a Kentucky high school football coach.
He will have a new role beginning in the 2013-14 school year -- he will serve as Director of Activities, which will see him coordinating all student activities as well as promoting the school, its students, and faculty.
Glaser is a 1970 graduate of St. X.
St. X Athletic Director Alan Donhoff said of Coach Glaser, "While his record speaks for itself, his players, past and present, hold him in the highest esteem as their coach and as their mentor. I look forward to working with Mike in his new capacity next year."
