LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three people accused in the beating death of a man at a Brownsboro Road restaurant were sentenced Friday.
It happened May 30, 2010, when a fight broke out at 4 a.m. Bryan Stevenson died in that fight.
Justin Warner received probation Friday on charges of assault, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Donald Hays is also on probation for charges of assault and trafficking in a controlled substance.
A murder charge was dismissed.
David Pryor received 12 months on an assault charge: time he had already served.
Prosecutor Erin White says the family is upset that the sentences weren't more severe: "I'm just so sorry for Bryan Stevenson's family. I wish I could have done more for them. I do think I got the best that I could, but it's just not enough."
Other charges are pending against a fourth man, William Schindler.
