Courtney is a native of Southern Indiana, where she was involved in many sports throughout her high school career. She participated in the Honor Society and Sunshine Society and was acknowledged for 13 years of perfect attendance.
At Murray State University, Courtney was a member of the track and field team (pole vault) and Alpha Gamma Delta while working part-time.
Courtney graduated from MSU with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media and a minor in Organizational Communication. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and her son, Liam.
