BOZICH: Cards 200-to-1 To Win BCS Title: USC Favored

Louisville starts the season as the Big East favorite and a 200-to-1 shot to win the BCS title.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – The University of Louisville is favored to win the Big East title in football this season, but the Cards remain an extreme long shot to win the BCS championship.

The odds at www.vegasinsider.com have Louisville listed at 200-to-1 to win the BCS title, placing the Cardinals in a pack of 20 teams that also includes Cincinnati, South Florida, Washington and Mississippi State. Coach Charlie Strong opens the 2012 season at home against Kentucky in three weeks.

Here are the top five picks:

USC starts at 7-to-2.

Alabama, with the defending national champs at 5-to-1.

LSU, at 6-to-1.

Oklahoma, Oregon, Florida State, all 8-to-1.

Kentucky, Indiana and Western Kentucky are all part of the field at 30-to-1.
