LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man who was trusted with the belongings of military families has been accused of committing theft, according to police.

Last month, Rodney L. Frierson, age 55, was working for Shelter-Derby Moving & Storage, located on Oaklawn Drive, off Preston Hwy. Police say he was responsible for, "packing and crating the belongings of military families going overseas."

According to an arrest report, he was supposed to crate a Panasonic 50-inch flatscreen TV, but instead he took the TV to his residence.

Police eventually found it at his home and confronted him about it, according to the report. He allegedly admitted to them that he stole the television.

The TV was worth $1,000, according to police.

Frierson is charged with theft.
