LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested more than two months after a deputy from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says he found 130 pot plants in the suspect's home.

According to an arrest warrant, deputies searched the home of 46-year-old James S. Johnston on Bank Street, near N. 17th St., on May 30.

While searching the home, officers allegedly found, "a significant cannabis growing operation" consisting of approximately 130 marijuana plants, several light hoods and numerous chemicals used for growing marijuana.

Authorities say the growing operation has been dismantled.

Deputies checked records at the Property Valuation Administrator's office and discovered that the home belonged to Johnston.

He was arrested August 10 and charged with cultivating marijuana and trafficking marijuana.
