Lane Kiffin quit the USA Today coaches' poll today days after he misrepresented where he voted USC in the pre-season poll.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Fibbing. Pouting. Quitting.
How many more characteristics of an 11-year-old can USC
football coach Lane Kiffin exhibit?
Stay tuned. Just when you thought Kiffin had finally found
the final way to embarrass himself, Kiffin moved the needle one more time.
It wasn't enough that Kiffin said he wouldn't vote USC
Number One after he had already voted USC Number One in the USA Coaches' Top 25
college football poll. Yes, you read that correctly.
Now that USA Today has outed him, Kiffin has quit the poll.
Done. Finished. Subtract one first-place vote for the
Trojans.
He's not voting anymore. He resigned as a poll voter in a
letter to USA Today and the American Football Coaches Association.
Apparently Al Davis was right.
