LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A memorial service is being held today for Ky. Gov. Steve Beshear's chief of staff, Mike Haydon.
Haydon died Sunday at his home in Springfield, Ky.
Visitation begins at the State Capitol at 2:30, with the memorial service at 3:30.
Gov. Beshear says he felt the ceremony at the Capitol was appropriate. He called it Haydon's "home away from home" during his years of government service.
Another visitation will be held in Springfield tomorrow, and his funeral will take place on Friday.
